Welcome to the ACLS HeartCode Renewal. If you are NOT an MD/DO, CRNA, PA/NP, ED/CCU RNs, or other experienced staff member with a minimum 2 years of ACLS experience, please contact us and we will add you to a course that is meant for you. Instructors may reschedule you to another date and class type if you are not appropriate for this class type.
This course requires the completion of the ACLS HeartCode online modules prior to attending the in-person skills check portion course. Please bring a copy or picture of the full completion certificate to class as you will not be permitted to attend without it.
How do you obtain access to the ACLS HeartCode online modules?
If you are an ANTHC employee, please include the link add-on during registration.
Those who are not ANTHC employees may purchase the modules through this link or add it on to their registration: HeartCode® ACLS
Would you like to complete/renew BLS during this class?
To complete your BLS during this course, you must complete the BLS HeartCode online modules and bring the completion certificate to class.
For ANTHC employees: please include the link add-on during registration
Non-ANTHC employees enrolled in the class may purchase the modules through this link: HeartCode® BLS Online
Need to borrow a manual?
(ANTHC employees only) Please check to see if your department has manuals to borrow. If not, you can borrow a manual from the Clinical Education Department manual library in the Education and Development Center (4115 Ambassador Drive), conference room which is accessible to employees via badge access 24 hours a day however please send us an email at learning@anthc.org or text to (907) 250-7007 to pick up a copy.
Please remember parking is strictly enforced in the Inuit Parking lot (permit parking only), please park by the lake in the Consortium Office Building overflow lot.
You are required to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here. For ANTHC employees, please check to see if a manual is available to borrow from your home unit. If one is not available from your home unit, you can borrow a manual from the Clinical Education Department manual library in the Education and Development Center (EDC), conference room 5. The EDC is located at 4115 Ambassador Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508 (the same building as the childcare center). EDC 5 is available to staff via badge access 24 hours a day.
