The 1-Day ACLS Update Course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and team leader in in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This in-person class is designed for previously certified individuals with experience/confidence using the AHA algorithms. The ACLS course covers extensive material in a brief time, and you will need to prepare for the course beforehand. 

Precourse Requirements 

You should prepare for class by doing the following: 

     Review and understand the information in your ACLS Provider Manual. 

     Review, understand, and pass the mandatory precourse self-assessment at this link: https://elearning.heart.org/course/423

     Ensure that your BLS skills and knowledge are current for the resuscitation scenarios. You will be tested on adult high-quality BLS skills using a feedback manikin during your ACLS course. You must know this in advance because you will not be taught how to do CPR or use an AED. 

If you would like to complete BLS during the class, please select one of the BLS Skills check options below. ANTHC Staff: Make sure to add the BLS Heartcode Course link if you would like to complete BLS during ACLS to ensure you receive the activation link upon registration.
